Melissa and Tom

Congratulations to Melissa and Tom on their marriage Saturday, May 19. My Melissa and I were privileged to be part of Melissa and Tom's fabulously fun day. We started with amazing photo ops at The Lofts downtown, with Melissa looking hot-hot-hot in her Monique Lhuillier dress! The ceremony was held in beautiful St. Francis of Assisi church on Buttles in Victorian Village, and was followed by pictures at the Union Station Arch and a fantastic reception at North Bank Park. Melissa and Tom were great fun and we had an absolute blast with them and their family/guests.

Here are some of my favorite shots:

Melissa got this great shot right before the ceremony:

And I love Melissa's capture of the barefoot cantor and the whole ceremony below! Love that fisheye lens!

My turn with the fisheye for this group shot under the Arch. I love when the group is not camera-aware! To me, it makes for a much more interesting image.

Check out these gorgeous pink puff decorations at North Bank Park. What a beautiful place for a reception!

Congratulations, Melissa and Tom!!

Happy Anniversary, Andrea and Scott!

I'd like to wish Andrea and Scott a very happy one-year anniversary today! Andrea and Scott came to me through my second shooter, Karen, and we had a fabulous time shooting their wedding/reception at the Columbus Museum of Art. Everything was simply gorgeous!

Here are a few of my favorite shots:

This shot cracks me up. I looked over at one point during the cocktail hour to see Karen adjusting her cameras - I almost couldn't believe she was standing in the exact same pose as the statue beside her. She was totally unaware! Too funny!

Happy anniversary, Andrea and Scott!

Jacque and Jeremy

My second shooter, Karen, and I had a fabulous time photographing the wedding of Jacque and Jeremy this past Friday. What a great couple and what fun we had making some great images for them! They decided to see each other prior to the ceremony, so I arranged a meeting for them at Jacque's parents' house, then we went to Franklin Park for pictures with the wedding party. The ceremony took place at Seton Parish in Pickerington, with a lovely reception at the Greek Orthodox Church. Everything was just gorgeous and we had a blast!

Here are a few of my favorites:

This shot was taken into the fluted mirrored ceiling of the limo. Very cool!

As a surprise to Jacque and Jeremy, Jacque's parents hired the OSU Alumni Band to play at the reception. Go Bucks!!

Jill and Tim

Last Saturday was Jill and Tim's wedding. You'll remember I shot their engagement session in D.C. last month and had a blast. The wedding was no different! They were married at North Broadway United Methodist with a beautiful reception at Taylor Mansion. All their friends and family were so much fun and you could tell they really adored Jill and Tim. It was a great day and we got so many fabulous images it was hard to choose just a few!

I love this portrait - isn't she gorgeous??!!

The kids were so cute!

Thanks to a quick-thinking wedding party, we were able to sneak inside OSU stadium for this awesome shot:

When we arrived at Taylor Mansion, the light of the sun was that beautiful golden color - perfect for romantic shots I love so much!

These two fantastic shots were captured by Melissa - love them both!

Congratulations, Jill and Tim!!

Katie and Pete

I capped off the weekend engagement sessions with a shoot yesterday with Katie and Pete, who will be married at the Columbus Museum of Art in June. Katie and Pete are a great couple and we got some fantastic shots at Inniswood Gardens. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! I'm looking forward to their wedding, for sure!

Here are some of my favs from our session:

AnnaMaria and Chris

While in Cleveland over the weekend, I also shot AnnaMaria and Chris. We had a blast! AnnaMaria was in Lindsay and Ben's wedding from last August and I'm so glad she chose me to photograph her wedding (and that I'll get to see Lindsay and Ben again!)!! AnnaMaria and Chris will be married in Columbus and I'm really looking forward to it! We shot in a variety of places in downtown Cleveland and also at their very cool converted-warehouse apartment. LOVE the stuff we got there!

Here are some of my favs:

Jess and Scott

OK, first up on the engagement marathon was Jess and Scott. What a great, fun couple! I'd not met them until their session and we hit it off immediately! Jess and Scott live in the Cleveland area and we did their session in and around the ultra cool Warehouse District in Cleveland. Their wedding will be at the Silver Grille in July and I can't wait!

Here are a few shots from their very fun session!

Engagements galore!

Man o man! I've been shooting engagement sessions like crazy since the weather has finally improved! I've got the images all ready to upload and post here on the blog, so look for the new entries!

Happy Anniversary, Brighid and Michael!!

Congratulations to Brighid and Michael who are celebrating their first anniversary today. Their wedding was held at Brighid's parents' fabulous farmhouse in Delaware, Ohio, and was a very intimate affair. Although there were only 18 people in attendance - including Brighid and Michael - no detail was spared. It was truly a lovely event, and I felt honored to be included. Here are a few of my favorite shots of the day:
