Alyson and Ken - Lake Erie wedding

Last Saturday, Andrew and I traveled up to Sandusky and Port Clinton for the wedding and reception of Alyson and Ken, who I met at Megan and Nik's wedding two years ago. Alyson and Ken had their reception at Camp Perry as well, and I love that the beach is right outside the door - makes for lots of impromptu opportunities for portraits whenever the light is right, which, in the evening on the lake, is often.

The wedding was in Sandusky at Old Calvary, a gorgeous old church that was converted to a weddings-only chapel, where all the proceeds from each event are donated to local charities. What a great way to give back!

Time for pictures!

Alysse and Jerrod - Worthington Christian Church / The Lofts at Smith Bros.

Last week, Andrew and I photographed the very - and I mean VERY - fun wedding of Alysse and Jerrod, who came to me through Emily and Don, whose wedding I photographed last year. I KNEW this would be a fun day and I was right. We started at Worthington Christian Church for the ceremony, suffered through the intense heat and humidity for a few outdoor shots, and then it was on to Main Bar, where we literally took over the place. The Lofts at Smith Bros. was the site of the reception.

So, on with the show.

Thanks, Alysse and Jerrod, for having us photograph your wedding - it was a blast!!

Lindsay and Andrew - The Lakes Country Club wedding

Over Memorial Day weekend, Andrew and I had the pleasure of photographing the Jewish wedding celebration of Lindsay and Andrew, who actually live in Toronto. Aside from the weather being a virtual steam bath, we couldn't have asked for a lovelier day. I started with Lindsay and her bridesmaids at Studio Fovero, then it was on to The Lakes for the rest of the festivities. Myriam Solomon was the coordinator and, as always, a pure joy to work with, and the flowers by Flowers on Orchard Lane were simply stunning.

So, without further ado, here are lots and lots of pictures to enjoy:
